Streetlight Christian Church

Streetlight Christian Church describes itself as a Reformed church holding to the five solas: by Scripture alone, by grace alone, by faith alone, through Christ alone, and glory to God alone. It confesses the Apostles', Nicene and Athanasian creeds and holds to the Heidelberg Catechism, the Canons of Dort and the Belgic Confession.

Streetlight Christian Church describes itself as a welcoming congregation in downtown Hamilton that has been praising God and serving the city for twenty-five years. It is affiliated with the Canadian Reformed Churches and supported by both Canadian Reformed and United Reformed churches, and through the week it runs programs for children, youth and adults in the Beasley neighbourhood.

The congregation meets at 82 Ferguson Avenue North twice each Sunday, at 10:30 in the morning and 6:30 in the evening.

What to expect

The church describes its worship as simple and reverent, following a pattern in which God speaks through his Word, his sacraments and his law, and his people respond with praise, prayer and offerings. Everyone gathers for refreshments and fellowship after the service.
